Goal 1 - Professional Standards

Goal 1 (Accountability and Professional Standards) calls on INTOSAI to strive to establish an effective framework for the adoption of professional standards that correspond to the demands and expectations of member institutions.

The goal shall be achieved by means of the following sub-strategies:

• Develop accountability and transparency principles;

• Review and restructure the current arrangements of standards committees;

• Develop partnerships with other international standard setters.
