INTOSAI Communications Strategy Task Force
Based on the Communications Policy adopted by the XIX INCOSAI, the INTOSAI Governing Board resolved at its 57th meeting in November 2007 to establish the INTOSAI Communications Strategy Task Force under the chairmanship of the INTOSAI Secretary General, with a view to enhancing INTOSAI‘s internal and external communication.
The INTOSAI Communications Strategy has five objectives:
- Raise the knowledge of INTOSAI members to a uniform level by using existing means of communication (Objective 1 - internal communication),
- dSupport INTOSAI members and promote convergence (Objective 2 - internal communication),
- Convey the concerns of government audit to decision-makers and opinion leaders (Objective 3 - external communication),
- Strengthen the standing and reputation of SAIs and of INTOSAI (Objective 4 - external communication), and
- Disseminate the benefits of SAIs and of INTOSAI among partner organisations (Objective 5 - external communication).
