13th ARABOSAI General Assembly in Doha, Qatar

The 13th ARABOSAI General Assembly was held in Doha, Qatar, from 10 to 14 November 2019. In addition to the members of ARABOSAI, numerous observers, such as the General Secretariat of INTOSAI, AFROSAI-E, ASOSAI, IDI (INTOSAI Development Initiative), IJGA (International Journal of Government Auditing), GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) and the World Bank, participated in the event.

Besides amendments to the ARABOSAI Statutes and a new ARABOSAI action programme, the General Assembly adopted a new work programme and a new financial plan for the upcoming period.

Furthermore, the General Assembly featured a technical symposium under the two themes "Organizational and Institutional Development Projects" and "Professional Development Projects", which provided comprehensive insight into the work of ARABOSAI's member SAIs.
